Only one more day to go!

I'm moving. Yep. Tomorrow morning, actually. I'm excited and nervous; anxious and happy, but most of all....this move means that Ray Ray's Cafe will finally be open. No more sharing the fridge, no more worrying about if my food has been eaten, and no more clutter. Last year, I moved 3 times within 3 months of each other. It was horrible, and it took forever. This time, I was given lots of boxes, hired movers to do all the heavy lifting and had everything packed - all of my stuff - days before the actual move.

I'm leaving work around 4pm today to pick up my keys, do the walk through & sign the lease. Then I'm driving to my friend's house to pick up the things I have stored in her spare bedroom, and then the both of us are going to Wally world to pick up the essentials....toilet paper, paper towels, lysol...etc.

Tomorrow morning the movers will be at my place between 9 & 10, Caron's coming over around 8:30 I think. She's going to be my moral support just in case something bad happens. (Caron and I below - that was a long time ago...I have better hair now.)

Anissa is going to my new place at 10. She said she'd be there with a bad attitude and a low cut shirt, directing the movers where to put my furniture. =)

Sunday, Britney is hosting a small, causual & last minute housewarming immediately after church at my place...with chicken wings and potato salad. But since the invites were sent out on Monday, my guess is that no one will show up, and Brit & I will be forced to go to the Dollar store for supplies...(ok, well maybe forced is the wrong word. I love the dollar store.)

Thank goodness that I have monday off!

Hello and welcome to Ray Ray's Café.

Mastermind of Ray Ray's: My friend Caron and I were talking one evening, and she said, "I cannot wait for you to move into your new place because then I can come over with groceries and have you cook for me." Caron's a genius, btw... and that's how the idea behind Ray Ray's Café was started.

The cool thing about Caron is that she knows me, and she knows how much I love to cook, so I am super excited about trying out new recipes on her and anyone else out there that wants to try my food.
